Hello imager200 friends!
We are taking a break. In the next couple of weeks, imager200 will be discontinued and the API will no longer be able to serve requests. We have decided to step down because the landscape of software engineering has drastically changed in the last couple of years. AI has taken over pretty much all the areas of software engineering, including the image processing field. It has become almost unimaginable to offer a product that does not involve AI and ML. We have noticed a decreasing interest for imager200 as a result.
Developing AI powered features would require a tremendous amount of effort and experimenting for the small team we are. For those reasons, discontinuing the project seems to be the right choice.
For all those who gave imager200 a try, we say thank you!
